Course Information
Description A study of the various process systems, including related scientific principles.
Prerequisites PREREQUISITES: PTAC-1302 / PTAC-1410 /PTAC-1432

1. Uses technology to access operator-specific documentation and training.    1. Students will be able to demonstrate operation of each process systems using computerized process operating programs.

1. Homework must be completed on time, 15 PTS will be deducted each class day late, for two class days. Homework more than 2 class days late will not receive a grade higher than 50. Homework must be hand written.2. Cell Phone use is not permitted in the classroom or lab. If a student is caught on their cell phone in class, the student will be asked to leave class. This will result in the student being counted absent from the class and having 4 points deducted from their major test points total at the end of the semester.

Final Grade
3. A student with no absences will receive 15 bonus points added to your test points total at the end of the semester.
1. You will have 4 Major Tests and a Final Exam in this class. All tests and the exam are taken in class on a specified day. There are "NO RETAKES". Makeup test will be allowed if absence is excused per the absence policy or by Instructor. If you miss "ONE" Test, your lowest DETERMINATION OF FINAL GRADE: Chapter Tests-33.1/3%, Quizzes/homework/labs-33.1/3% Final Exam-33.1/3%
current test score will be given for that test. If you miss more than one test, you will receive a zero for each additional test you miss. If you are involved in Academic Dishonesty, you will NOT be allowed to replace the zero with your current test average. Taking the Final Exam is required to complete the course.
